I recently stayed at The Mere for a relaxing getaway and overall, it was a lovely experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the spa treatments were fantastic. However, the dining experience for afternoon tea left much to be desired, as it felt more like a buffet rather than a special occasion. The atmosphere was soothing and the facilities were well-kept, but breakfast service could improve.
